Alcorn Bayou Watershed – Pumping has been completed in the watershed (until the next rain, if needed) and full detention is available. We are currently repairing two pumps but all 5 of the new gator pumps are established and ready, if needed.
Snake Slough Watershed – District has a mobile pump in the area and it has been pumped down.
Steep Bank Creek Watershed – The system is pumped down and the water levels are lower than they were pre-storm. 11 of the 12 mobile pumps are operational and will be used if there is a need.
There are forecasts for rain today but clearing overnight. Sunday looks clear.The Fort Bend County Emergency Operations Center is closing down this morning due to lowered rain expectations.
Unless something changes this will be the final post surrounding this series of storms.
